Technivorm becomes first sponsor for SCAE’s Wonderful Coffee Cologne event
Netherlands-based coffee brewing machine manufacturer Technivorm
in late January secured sponsorship for the Official SCAE Competition Coffee
Brewer 2009, becoming the Wonderful Coffee Cologne’s first sponsor, the
organisers said.
Wonderful Coffee Cologne, which is set to take place at the brand new
Coffeena exhibition at the Koelnmesse, June 26-28, will be the gathering
place of the best coffee professionals in the world in 2009. It brings
together four world coffee championships under one roof: the World Cup
Tasting Championship, the World Latte Art Championship, the World Coffee
in Good Spirits Championship and the new World Cezve/Ibrik Championship,
along with a host of other events including the Best Coffee Nation and
Coffee Photography competitions, a Conference, practical Workshops and
a varied calendar of social events.
If all this were not enough, the event takes place within the ultramodern
Koelnmesse in central Cologne, and during the first-ever edition of the
Coffeena exhibition, which is already attracting interest and participation
from all over the world.
Sponsor and SCAE member Technivorm is well known for supplying high quality,
technologically advanced coffee brewing and serving equipment, and, among
other achievements, is the recipient of the SCAE’s Award for Coffee Excellence.
