Instructions for the replacement of the water tank

Tools:         Philips screwdriver

                   T20 Torx screwdriver

                   tweezers

                   if necessary: Soap sud

Important: be careful with the glass tube!

Disassembly

1.      Put a towel on the table, preferably double

2.      Turn the device upside down and screw the base plate from the machine

3.      Loosen the black rubber tube from the copper pipe

4.      Look in the device, there is a 'micro switch' where two wires detached onto it. This is the button that is pressed by the jar. Look carefully what thread is attached to what point and make the wires loose with pliers. Be careful not to squeeze the connection.

5.      Turn the machine back and remove the metal float cap (silver coloured plate), this is 'snapped'.

6.      Loosen the screws in the water reservoir – put the rubber rings in a safe place, not to lose them. Sometimes they are stuck to the water tank.

7.      Pull the water tank right up from the machine by pulling the tube in the middle. All cables that are attached, come along.

8.      Screw the micro-switch loose and unplug all components.

9.      Push the float rubber washer through the hole

10.    Gently pull off the glass tube, hold the water tank with one hand so he does not "jump" when the tube comes out.

11.    Remove the rubber adapter in which the glass tube is inserted (perhaps use soapy water)

Mounting

1.      Place the rubber adaptor on the nozzle of the new water tank

2.      Push the glass tube well in the rubber adaptor, the top should come all the way to the top of the rubber adapter, there should be no space in the adapter left. If needed use a hard object (e.g., a book) to press the glass tube therein but be careful not to break the glass tube.

3.      Mount the float, put the rubber through the hole again, mount the float cap.

4.      Small white cap on it (bottom)

5.      Metal pin inside (thickening/head first)

6.      Attach the micro switch (can be only one way) and firm it with the screws

7.      Place the black rubber tube to it

8.      Put this complete set in the machine

9.      Glass tube gently and straight through the hole in the metal bracket. No bumping or pushing!

10.    Put the screws in the water tank (remember the black rubber rings)

11.    Turn the machine and attach the wires to the micro-switch (sliding)

12.    Push the black rubber tube as far as possible on the copper pipe

13.    Put the screws in the bottom.
