Inside the Moccamaster Factory

Inside the Moccamaster Factory
September 1, 2026

Ever wondered where and how your Moccamaster is made? Come with us to Amerongen, a small town in the heart of the Netherlands, and step inside the Technivorm factory – the home of Moccamaster since 1968.

This is where every Moccamaster brewer is carefully assembled by hand. Behind every machine are skilled people who work with care, precision and an eye for detail. From the smallest screw to the iconic aluminium housing, every component has a purpose. Parts are carefully designed, selected and assembled with two things in mind: to brew an exceptional cup of coffee, every single time, and to build a machine that is made to last.

Because we believe a coffee maker shouldn't be something you simply replace. That's why Moccamaster brewers are built from high-quality materials, designed to be repairable, and made to serve you for many years to come.

For more than half a century, we have continued to make our brewers here in the Netherlands. Combining Dutch design, craftsmanship and engineering to do one thing exceptionally well: brew great filter coffee.

Made by hand. Made with care. Made to last.

That's the story behind every Moccamaster. And perhaps that's why a Moccamaster could be the last coffee maker you'll ever need to buy. Unless, of course, you fall in love with a new colour.
