Since 2024, Moccamaster has proudly presented a new “Colour of the Year” every year. We launch this annual limited edition on 1 March, temporarily enriching the colourful KBG Select collection with a unique, fashionable colour. The search for the new Colour of the Year starts early. A year in advance, we are already analysing trends in various markets, such as fashion and interior design. We translate this information into a number of options for a new colour, ultimately selecting the most innovative and best choice. This is followed by a round of samples. Is the colour right? Is the finish right? Here too, several rounds are sometimes necessary to ultimately arrive at the perfect colour that will blow the public away.
Our goal is not to follow a trend, but to set one. The Colour of the Year is only available in limited quantities each year and will not be repeated. With the Colour of the Year, you will always have a unique Moccamaster in your home, which, in addition to years of coffee enjoyment, will also make a statement in your kitchen.
For the third year in a row, we are introducing our annual, limited edition “Colour of the Year”. This year, it’s Sorbet that brings colour to your coffee moment. A warm, energetic shade that radiates optimism and cheerfulness without being too flashy. The colour is reminiscent of long summer days and soft sunsets, giving every daily ritual a fresh, positive vibe. From the first cup in the morning to a quiet moment later in the day.
The second “Colour of the Year” launched by Moccamaster in 2025 was dedicated to the deep and adventurous colour Ocean. The unique sparkling finish added a touch of magic to every kitchen and took you on a journey through the deep seas.
Moccamaster kicks off spring 2024 with its first limited edition “Colour of the Year”. This year’s colour was the cheerful and warm Apricot. This colour represents change, making it a perfect transition from the long winter to a warmer spring.
