The idea to mix whipped cream, sugar, and chocolate with coffee originates from Milan, Italy where it is named Barbajada. There it is made with espresso but this drink will taste just as good with filter coffee.
We advise to use a dark roast coffee and to brew this as per usual. So, 6 scoops for 10 cups of coffee (or 60grams per 1 Litre water). This way you will brew the perfect coffee with your Moccamaster.

3 Extra Tips
- Grab all the ingredients you need and get everything ready before you pour the coffee. This way the Choco Coffee will be nice and warm upon serving!
- A common mistake that people make when they want to brew strong coffee is increasing the amount of grind coffee. This will make the coffee taste bitter rather than strong. To make a strong tasting cup of coffee, use a dark roast instead. You will find this indicated on the packaging (dark roast).
- Coffee is a fresh product, and will therefore always taste best if used as such. If you own a coffee grinder, then you can brew extra good coffee with freshly ground coffee beans.
